I joined Apollo 24|7 in June 2022 as a Product Analyst, and over the last few years, I’ve grown into the role of Product Manager.
I didn’t come into this with any formal product training. Most of what I know, I’ve learned by doing—working through real problems, leading teams, and watching how others around me operate. But I’ll be honest: a lot of that learning has been solo. My role hasn’t always involved deep collaboration with other PMs, and I feel that’s left some gaps in how well-rounded my skill set is.
I’ve had the freedom to choose what I work on, which has been a great opportunity. But that freedom can be a double-edged sword. Sometimes I wonder—am I using it the right way? Could I be learning faster, growing deeper, and contributing more? Probably yes.
I’ve had moments of appreciation and recognition from seniors, and no one’s ever said I’m doing a poor job. But I still feel I have a long way to go. I don’t want to just do okay as a PM. I want to understand the craft deeply—to think clearly, lead confidently, and build products that actually solve meaningful problems.
That’s where I’m headed. And I know I’m still figuring it out, one step at a time.
